Maple Leafs’ Nick Robertson cleared from COVID-19 Protocol list

Sportsnet's Chris Johnston and Shawn McKenzie break down the precautions the Maple Leafs have taken with Nick Robertson who joined the team from the Marlies and how the AHL team is dealing with one positive COVID case.

Forward Nick Robertson has been cleared from the NHL’s COVID-19 Protocol list and is available to re-join the Toronto Maple Leafs this morning, the team announced Thursday.

The 19-year-old was added to its ranks as a precautionary measure as he was recently with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies, who shut down Wednesday for a week due to a COVID-19 situation.

Robertson is pointless in three games with the Leafs this season and had 10 points in 14 games with the Marlies.
