Maple Leafs say Acciari doesn’t have concussion after hit from Puljujarvi

Watch as Toronto Maple Leafs forward Noel Acciari has to leave the ice shaken up after a big collision with Jesse Puljujarvi away from the puck.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Noel Acciari has not been diagnosed with a concussion and will have his status updated on Monday, per head coach Sheldon Keefe.

Keefe also told reporters that Acciari had a good day on Saturday, but he did not play in the Leafs’ matchup with the Ottawa Senators.

Acciari was forced to leave Friday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes at 19:45 of the first period after taking a high hit from Jesse Puljujarvi.

Acciari fell to the ice holding his face and left for the locker room immediately after the whistle. No penalty was called on the play.

The 31-year-old has collected 21 points (13 goals, eight assists) in 66 games so far this season.
