New York Rangers re-sign Matthew Robertson on one-year extension

The New York Rangers have re-signed defenceman Matthew Robertson to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Monday.

The six-foot-four, 23-year-old suited up for the Rangers AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack through the 2023-2024 season. There, he appeared in 68 games and recorded four goals and 17 assists for 21 points.

The Edmonton native was originally a second-round selection by New York in the 2019 NHL draft and has gone on to play in 190 AHL games with the Wolf Pack.
