NHL announces Sunday, Monday schedule for Game 7s

The NHL will have a Game 7 doubleheader on Sunday and the final game of Round 1 on Monday after three first-round series saw teams avoid elimination in Game 6 action.

The Boston Bruins will host Game 7 against the Florida Panthers at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT before the Colorado Avalanche entertain the Seattle Kraken in another winner-take-all showdown at 9:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. PT. The final game of Round 1 will be on Monday when the New Jersey Devils host the New York Rangers at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

The Panthers have won two in a row to force Game 7 against the league-leading Bruins, including a wild 7-5 victory on Friday in Florida.

The reigning Stanley Cup champion Avalanche snapped a two-game Kraken win streak with a 4-1 win on Friday in Seattle.

The Rangers saw themselves crawl back from the brink of elimination on Saturday, scoring five goals in a decisive victory over the visiting Devils. The Battle of the Hudson returns to Prudential Center in a winner-take-all contest to close out the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
