Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins will miss Wednesday’s game against the Boston Bruins due to an illness.

Meanwhile, Connor Brown returns to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for Monday’s win over the Arizona Coyotes.

After a career year last season that saw him collect 104 points, Nugent-Hopkins has 15 goals and 34 assists for 49 points in 52 games this season.

The 30-year-old forward was the first-overall selection by the Oilers in the 2011 NHL Draft and has played his entire 13-year career in Edmonton.

Brown, who joined the Oilers this off-season, has struggled to produce in his first season with Edmonton. In 44 games, he has just four assists and is still looking for his first goal.
