Oilers re-sign F James Hamblin to two-year, two-way contract

The Edmonton Oilers are bringing back forward James Hamblin on a two-year, two-way contract worth $1.55 million, according to Sportsnet’s Mark Spector.

Hamblin, an Edmonton native, has spent the first four years of his professional career bouncing between the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors and the Oilers. He made his NHL debut in 2022.

Last season, he tallied two goals and one assist in 31 appearances with Edmonton and four goals and four assists with Bakersfield.

He won the Calder Cup with the Condors in 2021.
