Ottawa Senators sign F Michael Amadio to a three-year contract

The Ottawa Senators are adding some veteran help to their forward group.

Ottawa has agreed to terms with forward Michael Amadio on a three-year, $7.8 million contract, worth $2.6 million AAV, Sportnset’s Elliotte Friedman reported on Monday.

Amadio, 28, has spent the better part of the last three seasons with the Vegas Golden Knights, winning the Stanley Cup with them in 2023. He tallied 14 goals and 13 assists in 73 games lats season.

The Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. native had a short stint in Ottawa in the 2020-21 season, playing five games with the club after being traded there from the Los Angeles Kings at the 2021 deadline.
