The Pittsburgh Penguins added some depth in net by signing free agent Louis Domingue to a one-year, two-way contract. The deal will pay Domingue a $750,000 salary at the NHL level.

The 29-year-old spent the last season in the Calgary Flames organization, mostly with the taxi squad, but did appear in one NHL game and three AHL games with the Stockton Heat.

The six-foot-three netminder has appeared in 140 NHL games with the Coyotes, Lightning, Devils, Canucks and Flames, posting a 58-59-10 record with a .904 save percentage and two shutouts.

In Pittsburgh, he will slot in behind Tristan Jarry and Casey DeSmith and will likely spend a majority of the season in the AHL with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
