Predators sign Allard to one-year, two-way contract

The Nashville Predators announced they have signed defenceman Frederic Allard to a one-year, two-way contract for the 2021-2022 season.

Allard made his NHL debut against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Mar. 13 where he blocked one shot in 16:59 minutes of ice time.

Originally drafted by the Predators third round, 78th overall in the 2016 NHL Draft, Allard has 92 points including 17 goals and 75 assists in 206 career AHL contests and tallied 18 points, three goals and 15 assists, in 25 games for the AHL’s Chicago Wolves in 2020-2021.
