Predators sign second-round pick Luke Evangelista to entry-level contract

The Nashville Predators have signed 2020 second-round pick Luke Evangelista to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Evangelista, 18, is a five-foot-11 winger with the OHL’s London Knights. In 62 games last season, he had 23 goals and 61 points, including six game-winning goals.

The Oakville, Ont., native is second cousins with Hockey Hall of Famer Brendan Shanahan.
