Rangers sign Ben Harpur to two-year contract extension

The New York Rangers have signed defenceman Ben Harpur to a two-year extension worth $1.575 million, the team announced Thursday.

Harpur played for the Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators before arriving in New York this season.

In 18 games, the 28-year-old has one goal and two assists.
