Detroit Red Wings forward Tyler Bertuzzi has been awarded $3.5 million for next season in arbitration, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman has learned.
The new deal was later confirmed by the club.
The 25-year-old is coming off a career year that saw him post 21 goals and 48 points, earning him a spot in the All-Star Game.
That performance came after a 21-goal, 47-point effort one year prior.
The Red Wings drafted Bertuzzi in the second round (58th overall) back in 2013.
