Sabres sign forward Jason Zucker to one-year deal

The Buffalo Sabres have agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal with veteran forward Jason Zucker.

Zucker split last season between the Arizona Coyotes and Nashville Predators, scoring 14 goals and 32 points in 69 regular season games. The 32-year-old also contributed three points in six playoff games.

In 697 career regular-season games with the Predators, Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins and Minnesota Wild, Zucker has 196 goals and 370 points.

He was selected by Minnesota in the second round of the 2010 NHL Draft.
