Aaron Dell is returning to the San Jose Sharks after signing a one-year contract with the club on Thursday.
Dell, who was undrafted, originally signed as a free agent with the Sharks in 2015 and spent the first four seasons of his NHL career in San Jose.
He split this past season between the Buffalo Sabres and their American Hockey League farm team in Rochester.
The 33-year-old from Airdire, Alta., holds a 50-47-13 record with a 2.93 goals-against average and .905 save percentage in 126 games with the Sharks, Sabres and New Jersey Devils.
