Stars’ Seguin out vs. Hurricanes, Stankoven to make NHL debut

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin will not play against the Carolina Hurricanes because of a lower-body injury.

Logan Stankoven will make his NHL debut taking Seguin’s place in the lineup on the third line with Jamie Benn and Wyatt Johnson.

Seguin has 20 goals and 45 points in 58 games this season.

Dallas selected Stankoven in the second round of the 2021 NHL Draft. The 21-year-old made his professional debut in the AHL with the Texas Stars and has impressed with 57 points in 47 games to lead the AHL and is second in the league with 24 goals.
