Tarasenko, Krug return to Blues from IR; Buchnevich out two weeks

Scoring forward Vladimir Tarasenko and defenceman Torey Krug have returned from injured reserve, the St. Louis Blues announced Tuesday.

But the news wasn’t all good for the Blues, as they also placed forward Pavel Buchnevich on IR after he underwent a minor operation to address an infection on his ankle where he suffered a contusion earlier in the season. Buchnevich is expected to be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.

In 34 games this season, Tarasenko has 10 goals and 19 assists for 29 points. Krug has five goals and 12 assists for 17 points In 31 games.

In 38 games this season, Buchnevich has 15 goals and 23 assists for 38 points.
