On Friday, Henrik Lundqvist announced his retirement after 15 seasons in the NHL with the New York Rangers.
The Swedish goaltender is one of the most accomplished netminders of his generation, with 459 wins, along with the Vezina Trophy (2012) and Olympic gold (2006).
Here’s some of the best reaction to Lundqvist’s retirement announcement.

Amazing career for Henrik Lundqvist, and he retires only playing with one team in the Rangers. This one hurts today.
