Flame Fighter: Todd Simpson’s battle with forest fires in West Kelowna

In August of 2023, a massive forest fire started just outside West Kelowna, where 35,000 people were asked to evacuate. Former Calgary Flames Captain Todd Simpson chose to stay behind and fight the fire with a garden hose and shovel.
