It’s been six days since the Toronto Maple Leafs season ended and already a shoe has dropped.
On Thursday, the team announced that Sheldon Keefe had been fired as head coach and that a search for his replacement was underway.
But could more change be coming? And if so, what form will it take?
Maple Leafs management will speak to the media on Friday to attempt to answer those very questions.
Expected to speak are team president Brendan Shanahan, general manager Brad Treliving and new MLSE CEO Keith Pelley.
The trio will face questions about roster construction, the head coach opening and their confidence in the path the club is currently on.
