The one weekend that saved the Owen Sound Platers, keeping the town’s dreams alive

It took just one weekend in April of 2000, for Barry Hamill and Greg MacIvor along with their native city of Owen Sound to take it upon themselves to raise more than half a million dollars to keep their beloved Owen Sound Platers in town.
