Benjamin Karl is the early leader in the battle for best celebration at the Winter Olympics.
The 40-year-old Austrian snowboarder tore off the top of his uniform and flexed after making history on Sunday at Milano Cortina 2026.
Karl had every right to go tarps off and let out a mighty roar after winning gold in the men's parallel giant slalom, becoming the first snowboarder to pick up a fourth career Olympic medal. He then lay in the snow while pumping his arms.
Reuters reported it was a tribute to Austrian alpine ski legend Hermann Maier, who once did a similar celebration in the snow.
Karl defended his title by beating out South Korea’s Kim Sang-kyum in the final.
The Austrian has said he plans to retire after his fifth Olympics.
