Canada's Dufour-Lapointe qualifies for Olympic women's moguls final

Canada's Justine Dufour-Lapointe has advanced to Sunday's women's moguls final at the Beijing Olympics.

The Montreal native earned the 10th and last spot in the final in the first of two qualifying sessions.

Dufour-Lapointe, the 2014 Olympic champ and a silver medallist in 2018, had a score of 71.45.

Her sister, Chloe Dufour-Lapointe, just missed qualifying, finishing 11th with a score of 70.31.

Sofiane Gagnon of Whistler, B.C., also missed qualifying, placing 14th.

Chloe Dufour-Lapointe and Gagnon will now compete in the second qualifier on Sunday, where another 10 spots in the final are available.

Jakara Anthony of Australia finished first with a score of 83.75.
