Canada’s Rachel Homan and John Morris rebounded from a loss to Sweden by beating the United States 7-2 in Olympic mixed doubles curling action on Saturday.
The win improved Canada’s record to 4-2, good for a tie for third with Great Britain in the 10-team standings.
The top four teams advance to the semifinals.

Homan and Morris scored three in the seventh end, ending it against Americans Vicky Persinger and Christopher Plys (3-3).
Tied 2-2 after four ends, the Ottawa natives scored one in the fifth and one in the sixth to take the edge.
Earlier, Canada lost 6-2 to Sweden’s Almida de Val and Oskar Eriksson.
Italy’s Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner lead the way at 6-0. Sweden is second at 5-2.
The Canadians face the Czech Republic (2-4) and Australia (0-7) on Sunday.
