Canada’s Laurie Blouin fell just short of the podium in the Women’s Slopestyle snowboarding event with a fourth-place finish at the Beijing Winter Olympics.
Blouin, a 25-year-old from Stoneham, Que., won silver at the 2018 Pyeongchang Games.
She scored 81.41, trailing Australia’s Tess Coady who finished third with 84.15.
American Julia Marino finishes second in the event with a 87.68 score and New Zealand’s Zoi Sadowski-Synnott took home the gold with 92.88 – becoming the first Kiwi to top the podium at a Winter Games.
