Team Brad Jacobs is back in the win column at the Winter Olympics.
The Canadian men's rink beat winless China 6-3 on Sunday to boost its record to 4-1 in the nine-game round-robin.
The top four teams make the semfinals.
It was a nice bounce-back win for the Canadians, who have been embroiled in a huge controversy after Sweden accused Canada third Marc Kennedy of double-touching his rocks on his release during a game Friday.
Team Jacobs suffered its first loss, against Switzerland on Saturday, in its first game since the loud dispute between the Canadians and Sweden.
The controversy had ramifications on the entire competition. Two rocks were removed in other games after World Curling pledged to use more umpires to monitor the situation before the sport's governing body changed course and returned to a more traditional set-up on Sunday prior to the final draw of the day.
Against China's Team Xu Xiaoming, Canada stole two in the eighth to take a commanding 6-2 lead after the game was tied 2-2 at the fifth-end break.
"That was our best game of the week," Canadian lead Ben Hebert told CBC Olympics. "The boys brought a lot of energy tonight. ... Guys played awesome, ice was good, lot of confidence moving forward."
Team Jacobs returns to action Monday (8:05 a.m. ET / 5:05 a.m. PT, CBC Gem, Sportsnet+) against Czechia.
