Mark McMorris and Laurie Blouin are among the six athletes who have been named to Canada's Olympic snowboard team.
They will be joined by Eli Bouchard, Francis Jobin, Juliette Pelchat and Cameron Spalding.
McMorris, from Regina, will be making his fourth Olympic appearance in Italy in February. The 32-year-old has won bronze in each of the past three Winter Games in the men's slopestyle event.
Blouin is set to make her third Olympic appearance. The 29-year-old from Quebec City won silver in the women's slopestyle at the 2018 Olympics and is currently seventh in the World Snowboard points list.
Spalding, Bouchard, Jobin and Pelchat will all be debutants in Italy. Spalding, from Havelock, Ont., won the FIS Crystal Globe in snowboard slopestyle for the 2024-25 season following his victories at two World Cup stops. The 20-year-old is currently ranked seventh in the World Snowboard points list.
Reigning slopestyle world champion Liam Brearley, who had pre-qualified for the Canadian Olympic team based on his results in 2025, will not compete after sustaining an injury that required surgery.
