Norway's Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo has made Olympic history.
The cross-country skier set a Winter Games record with his ninth career gold medal on Sunday as Norway won the men's 4x7.5km relay.
Klaebo, 29, previously was tied with countrymen Bjorn Daehlie, Marit Bjron, and Ole Einar Bjorndalen.
Sunday's triumph marked Klaebo's fourth gold at Milano Cortina 2026.
American swimmer Michael Phelps has the all-time Olympic record with 23 gold medals.
Klaebo could get into double figures by the end of the Games. His next chances for a 10th gold are in the team sprint on Wednesday or the 50-km race on Saturday.
