Kyle Reyes and Coralie Godbout added a pair of judo medals to Canada's tally Sunday at the Commonwealth Games.
Reyes, a 32-year-old from Brampton, Ont., captured gold in the men's -100-kilogram discipline, swiftly defeating England’s Max Gregory 1-0 in the final.
The 25-year-old Godbout of Lévis, Que., took down India’s Ishroop Narang 1-0 to win bronze in the women’s -78-kilogram weight class.
Canada has now claimed seven judo medals at the Games, including four gold.
In track cycling, Maggie Coles-Lyster of Maple Ridge, B.C., took bronze in the women's elimination race while Australia's Alyssa Polites and Georgia Baker finished first and second, respectively.
Coles-Lyster earned her second career Commonwealth medal after winning bronze in the women's scratch race at the 2022 Games.
The 27-year-old said she was "really happy" to reach the podium after undergoing career-threatening iliac artery surgery last year.
“I had a career-changing surgery last year, so this has been my comeback year, and it’s also been my best season ever,” Coles-Lyster said in a press release. “Coming into these Games I thought ‘don’t leave without a medal’, so today was my last chance to make that happen and I’m really happy I did.
"To get the job done in the elimination today, my favourite event, was a great feeling and a big sigh of relief.”
The Commonwealth Games wrap Sunday evening after 10 days of competition.
Quebec City’s Julien Frascadore will carry Canada’s flag into the closing ceremony at Glasgow’s Hydro arena after winning judo gold in the men's -66-kilogram category.
