The top team in the round-robin will not compete for gold in mixed doubles curling at the Winter Olympics.
First-place Great Britain lost 9-3 to Sweden in semifinal action on Monday.
Sweden's Isabella and Rasmus Wrana will face the U.S. in Tuesday's final. Team USA's Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin beat reigning Olympic and world champs Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner of Italy 9-8 in the other semifinal.
Great Britain's Jennifer Dodds and Bruce Mouat were the class of the field all week, but the Swedish siblings scored five in the sixth end of their semifinal to break a 3-3 tie.
Sweden won bronze at the 2022 mixed doubles Olympic event, while the Americans will reach the mixed podium for the first time in this third Olympic edition of the curling disciipline.
Italy will meet Great Britain in the bronze-medal game, also on Tuesday.
