Pan Am Games pool to host 2016 Olympic trials

TORONTO — The 2016 Canadian Olympic and Paralympic swimming trials will be held at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, the new pool being built for the 2015 Pan American Games.

The meet is scheduled for April 5-10, 2016, ahead of the Rio Olympics and Paralympics.

The venue, which is co-owned the City of Toronto and the University of Toronto Scarborough, will be the site of several events for the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games, including all aquatics events.

The Pan Am Games are scheduled for July 10-26, 2015. The Parapan Am Games run from Aug. 7-15.
