Halfway through the final stage of PGA Tour Q-School, Canada's Myles Creighton is in the hunt to earn one of five PGA cards for next year.
The 28-year-old native of Digby, N.S. is tied for 30th after 36 holes, sitting at 2 under in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
The top five finishers earn PGA Tour cards for 2024. Americans Kyle Westmoreland, and Blaine Hale Jr. and Australian Harrison Endycott share the lead at 7 under, with another two more golfers holding onto top-five spots at 6 under.
Golfers finishing sixth through 45th get status on the Korn Ferry Tour next year, though Creighton already has some status on the PGA's feeder circuit next year by virtue of his second-place finish on PGA Tour Latinoamerica last season.
Creighton is one of five Canadians at the final stage of PGA Tour Q-School.
Sudarshan Yellamaraju of Mississauga, Ont. is at even par, Etienne Papineau of St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Que. is one over, while Jared du Toit of Kimberley, B.C. and Vancouver's Stuart Macdonald are 5 over.
