Canada's Corey Conners and Ben Silverman are among those who will be extending their stay in Bermuda.
The final round of the Butterfield Bermuda championship on Sunday was postponed due to wind gusts over 40 m.p.h., the PGA Tour announced.
If and when play does resume, Conners of Listowel, Ont., and Silverman of Thornhill, Ont., (both 14-under for the tournament) will begin two strokes back of co-leaders Austin Smotherman and Seamus Power at 16-under.
Both Canadians shot 69 during a windy third round.
Adam Hadwin of Abbotsford, B.C., is tied for 17th at 10 under; A.J. Ewart of Coquitlam, B.C., and Mackenzie Hughes of Hamilton, Ont., are tied for 25th at 9 under; and Adam Svensson of Surrey, B.C., is tied for 59th at 4 under.
The forecast for Monday was not any better, which ordinarily would lead to the event being reduced to 54 holes.
Smotherman and Power were tied for the lead, however. And there was a charter flight leaving Bermuda on Monday morning for Vallarta, Mexico, the next stop on the PGA Tour schedule. Power and Smotherman are both in the field next week.
One possibility was a playoff early Monday to decide a winner, provided the weather allowed. Officials were expected to decide by the end of Sunday.
