The Columbus Blue Jackets sweep the Presidents' Trophy winning Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Is it the biggest upset in professional hockey history? April 15 2019

Whether you’re putting together an NHL team or a fantasy squad — or in Jason Farris’ case, writing a book — constructing a roster is a fascinating exercise. The author, former Dallas Stars Executive VP and self-described hockey nerd, joins Jeff and Elliotte to discuss the making of “It Takes 23 To Win” which details the building of 24 historical teams by a group that includes four Hockey Hall of Famers and 12 Stanley Cup winners.

The trio also discuss Farris’ first book, “Behind The Moves” considered by many in the hockey industry a must-read for anyone who wants to better understand how NHL GMs tick.
