Manchester United's Ruben Amorim and Bryan Mbeumo have won the Premier League manager and player of the month awards for October, following a successful run, the league announced Friday.
With wins against Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton, the Red Devils made easy work of October, claiming nine points out of a possible nine.
Amorim, who has struggled to find consistency this season, beat out Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery and Andoni Iraola to win the prize. It is his first Premier League manager of the month award since arriving in Manchester last season.
He led the team through October with help from six different goal scorers while achieving a goal differential of plus-five across the three games.
"The credit is not mine, the credit is for my players. They did really well, and our goal is to win the next one (award) because it means we win football matches and that is our goal," Amorim said in an interview with the Premier League after winning the award.
Mbeumo started all three matches and finished the month with three goals and one assist, scoring or providing in each game. He is the first Manchester United player to win the player of the month award since Bruno Fernandes in March 2025.
The 26-year-old midfielder finished ahead of Erling Haaland, Junior Kroupi, Nordi, Mukiele, Bruno Guimaraes, Igor Thiago, Jurrien Timber and Matty Cash in winning the award, and became just the second Cameroonian player to claim it.
