The PWHL is heading out west, and fans in Vancouver and Seattle learned Monday what the core of their new teams will look like after the expansion draft.
Each team selected seven players, chosen in a snake draft, to join the five signed to contracts last week.
On Vancouver's roster following the exclusive signing period are forwards Sarah Nurse and Jenn Gardiner, defenders Claire Thompson and Sophie Jacques, and goaltender Emerance Maschmeyer.
South of the border, Seattle signed forwards Hilary Knight, Danielle Serdachny and Alex Carpenter, defender Cayla Barnes and goaltender Corinne Schroeder.
