PWHL Seattle made their latest high-profile signing on Friday.
Alex Carpenter, former New York Sirens alternate captain, signed a one-year standard player agreement with PWHL Seattle for the 2025-26 season, general manager Meghan Turner announced.
Carpenter ranks at third in the PWHL for all-time career points at 43 in 50 games played. She is also tied for first in all-time career power-play points at 18 through two seasons.
The five-foot-six centre has also represented the U.S. on multiple occasions, winning two olympic silver medals and seven World Championships.
"Alex is an elite competitor who brings intensity every time she steps on the ice," Turner said in a statement. "She's an elite two-way player who has proved to be one of the best in the world for years."
Carpenter was one of the Sirens' first three players, serving as alternate captain for two seasons. She is the fourth player to be signed with PWHL Seattle, along with Hilary Knight, Danielle Serdachny and Cayla Barnes.
