Lando Norris, from the pole was on his way to his maiden F-1 win for McLaren, but with 4 laps to go, the rain moved in from the Black Sea. Lewis Hamilton, chasing down Norris pitted for rain tires, Lando tried to stay out on slicks, but he slid off with 2 laps to go, handing Hamilton his 100th career win, the first ever to make 100. With Max Verstappen finishing 2nd after starting tail with an engine change, Lewis re-takes the driver points lead. Canadians: Lance Stroll wound up 11th in Russia after late contact in the rain with Pierre Gasly. Penalized 11 seconds and 2 penalty points. Nick Latifi did not finish.
