2022 is our 30th Anniversary Season!
NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series:
Last Race: Sunday June 26th: Nashville Super Speedway Nashville TN: Only one of the Big 3 active in the first race weekend of summer. NASCAR in their infinite wisdom decided to start this race at 5:15 eastern, even with bad weather approaching. After two weather delays with lightening and rain, they didn’t finish until just shy of midnight, just under 7 hours! And they needed 300 laps at this place like they needed the flu! Winning another blurry-eyed NASCAR Cup marathon: Chase Elliott, who overhauled Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch with 38 laps to go and hung on through a late caution with 9 laps to go. Kyle Busch finished 2nd, Ryan Blaney 3rd.
Cup Points into Road America: TBD
Next Race: Sunday July 3rd: Road America Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. ( Road Course )

Dark the last two summers due to Covid-19, the return of the Canadian Grand Prix, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Isle Notre Dame on the the Montreal waterfront for TSN 690! Classic battle between Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz at the end. Max led a lion share of the laps, but had to work like heck to hold back a very determined Sainz in his Ferrari over the closing laps after a late safety car! Montreal was win # 6 on the season for Verstappen, Red Bull’s 6th GP win in a row! Sainz held 2nd, with Lewis Hamilton and the troubled Mercedes 3rd on the podium, the best day for Lewis in months! Maybe things are improving! George Russell 4th in the other Merc, Charles LeClerc 5th for Ferrari after starting tail with an engine change!
