Formula One World Driving Championship:

Last Grand Prix: Sunday June 18^th at The Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal:

Unlike qualifying, no rain on race day in front of a packed house! Max Verstappen won it at the start when he left Fernando Alonso in the dust, leading every lap the rest of the way even through a pair of pit stops! That’s back-to-back Montreal wins for Max, and Grand Prix win 100 for Red Bull! Verstappen’s 4^th straight win, 6^th of the season! Alonso finished 2^nd for another podium, Lewis Hamilton 3^rd, followed by the two Ferraris: LeClerc and Sainz! Running out of the points for most of it, Montreal’s Lance Stroll pushed hard on the final lap to finish in the point in 9^th to atone for his DNF in Monaco.

Points into Austria: Verstappen leads Red Bull team mate Sergio Perez (6^th in Montreal) by 69 in Drivers. Red Bull with a big 154 point lead on Mercedes in Constructors!

Next Grand Prix: Sunday July 2, The Grand Prix of Austria, Spielberg. Last Year’s winner: Charles LeClerc.

Last Race: Sunday June 18^th at Road America, Elkhart Lake Wisconsin:

Alex Palou wins his 2^nd in a row and 3^rd of the season for Chip Ganassi! Josef Newgarden 2^nd, Pato O’Ward 3^rd, Scott Dixon 4^th and Pole Sitter Colton Herta 5^th. Toronto’s Devlin DeFrancesco 23^rd. 

IndyCar Points into Mid-Ohio: Palou stretches his points lead to 74 over Marcus Ericsson.

Next Race: Sunday July 2^nd at the Mid-Ohio Road Course in Lexington, Ohio. Last Year’s winner: Scott McLaughlin.

NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series: 

Last Race: Sunday June 11^th: Sonoma, California road course:

After a dominant performance throughout the day, Martin Truex Jr. took the lead for the final time with 14 laps to go and drove away to victory lane! It’s the 33^rd win in his Cup career and 4th at Sonoma. After taking the lead from teammate Denny Hamlin in Stage Two, Truex held the top spot throughout the bulk of the race and seldom relinquished it. After lining up 4th on the final restart, Truex made quick work of Chase Elliott to take the lead back, then drove away from Kyle Busch over the final 10 laps to take the win. Joey Logano, Chris Buescher and Chase Elliott rounded out the top 5.
