Another romp for Holland’s Max Verstappen! Like he did in Monaco, he led every lap from the pole easily for his 3rd win in a row, 5th win of the season! He was warned about exceeding track limits, but that was the only flaw in his performance. Great outing for Mercedes! Both on the podium! Lewis Hamilton 2nd, George Russell 3rd with those car upgrades showing improvement. Sergio Perez in the other Red Bull was 4th, with Carlos Sainz 5th for Ferrari in his homeland contest. Nice recovery for Canada’s Lance Stroll after that Monaco DNF, a 6th at Cataluna, one ahead of Aston Martin ‘mate Fernando Alonso to score points.

F-1 Points into Montreal: Max Verstappen leads Driver points by 53 over Red Bull team mate Sergio Perez. Red Bull on top of Constructors by 135 over Mercedes. Aston Martin slips to 3rd, 18 back of Mercedes!
