The Golden State Warriors are not humans, they’re genetically modified super-humans designed to play the game of basketball — and destroy everybody in it.
At least, that’s what their 15-0 record and plus-216 point differential to start the season would have us believe.
Fresh off their first NBA championship in 40 years last season, the Warriors somehow appear even better and look poised to eclipse the 95-96 Chicago Bulls’ all-time best record of 72-10.
Golden State’s next five opponents are the Los Angeles Lakers (2-11), Phoenix Suns (7-6), Sacramento Kings (5-9), Utah Jazz (6-6) and the Charlotte Hornets (7-6). At this rate, they may never lose again.
That’s why Tim & Sid presented this Match Game One-Up challenge to their audience: “____ will happen before the Warriors lose a game.”
