Canada will get a chance at sweet revenge as it gears up for the knockout stage of the Concacaf Nations League.
The Canadian men's national team has learned its schedule for the upcoming Nations League quarterfinals, with a two-legged showdown against Guatemala set for Nov. 13 and 16.
The first leg will be played in Guatemala, with the second leg at BMO Field in Toronto.
The matchup has some added intrigue, as Guatemala knocked Canada out in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup in a penalty shootout.
Canada has yet to suit up for Nations League play, as it earned an automatic bye to the quarterfinals as one of the conference's top four ranked teams along with Mexico, the United States and Panama.
Canada's most recent game against Guatemala came on Jan. 17, when it beat the Central American side 1-0 in an international friendly. In all, Canada has a 10-3-3 record against Guatemala since 1972.
