CF Montreal has postponed their Concacaf Champions League match against Mexican club Santos Laguna due to inclement weather, the team announced.
Olympic Park, the stadium where CF Montreal will be playing, is applying stadium management and forced the postponement of the game scheduled for Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
The match has been moved to Wednesday at the same time, with all tickets for the game remaining valid for the following day.
However, three conditions need to be met in order for the match to continue on Wednesday:
1. that within 24 hours of the event, no snowfall greater than 3 cm or freezing rain greater than 3 mm is expected for the duration of the event,
2. that there are no snow or ice loads greater than five metric tons on the roof at the start of the event, and
3. that there is no ice accumulation on the tower façade or on the suspension cables between the tower and the roof.
