Both Christine Sinclair and Ashley Lawrence have had to withdraw from the Canadian senior national women's team camp due to injury and will be unavailable for Canada's upcoming games against Argentina and Morocco, which are to be played in Spain.
Sarah Stratigakis, who has been called up for the matches, currently plays for Vittsjö GIK in Sweden's Damallsvenskan.
Sinclair, who plays for the Portland Thorns of the NWSL, injured her left foot earlier in the year in a match against Wales, and has been held out of games, including Canada's home friendly against South Korea, as a precaution to not aggravate the injury.
Fullback Lawrence, who plays for Division 1 Féminine's Paris Saint-Germain in France, was unavailable to play in Canada's friendlies against Australia as she was unavailable due to personal reasons.
