Concacaf issued a warning about homophobic chants from the crowd at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton during halftime of the Canada-Mexico World Cup Qualifying game on Tuesday.

Mexico has previously been sanctioned for homophobic chants from their fans.

FIFA has ruled Mexico's next two home games will be played without fans due to the chants at home qualifiers against Canada and Honduras.
