Forest will pay a USD $1-million transfer fee to Toronto as part of the deal, according to Paul Tenorio of The Athletic. Laryea will travel to England to undergo his medical and sign the contract on Thursday.
The full-back has made 67 appearances across three seasons for TFC following his arrival from Orlando City. He’s established himself as one of Canada’s key players as well, picking up 22 caps since his debut in September 2019.
Laryea will join fellow Canadian international Junior Hoilett in the Championship, with the 31-year-old plying his trade for Reading.
