MADRID — Atletico Madrid says its new stadium will be called Wanda Metropolitano.

Chinese company Wanda Group bought a 20 per cent stake in the Spanish club last year.

Atletico will move from its current Vicente Calderon Stadium to its new ground next season.

The Wanda Metropolitano is a refurbishment of the La Peineta Stadium. It will hold 67,000 spectators.
