BARCELONA, Spain — Barcelona says it has agreed to loan Dutch midfielder Ibrahim Afellay to Greek champion Olympiakos for one season.
Afellay joined Barcelona from PSV in 2010, but a series of leg injuries have limited him to 35 appearances for the Catalan club. He is under contract with Barcelona for one more season.
The 28-year-old Afellay played just two games for Barcelona last season.
Afellay played for the Netherlands in the 2010 World Cup.
