MUNICH, Germany — Bayern Munich says it has extended defender Diego Contento’s contract by three years until June 2016.
The Bundesliga and Champions League runner-up announced the decision on Tuesday.
The Munich-born 22-year-old has played 47 games for Bayern in the Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League — including the final that the team lost to Chelsea in a penalty shootout last month.
