All the pressure will be on Brazil on Wednesday as it guns for its first win at the Copa America Centenario, taking on Haiti in a Group B contest as a huge -800 betting favourite at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Brazil eked out a scoreless draw with Ecuador in its group stage opener last weekend, and is now winless in three of its past four Copa America contests heading into Wednesday’s matchup at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

The Canarinho remain near the top of the Copa America Centenario odds, however, slipping slightly to +650 after opening the tournament at +450, while Haiti trails as a distant +75,000 longshot in its first-ever Copa America appearance.

Peru has made gains at the sportsbooks, rising to a +5,000 bet to win its first Copa America crown since 1975 after getting past Haiti with a 1-0 win on Saturday, but is a +365 underdog in its Wednesday clash with Ecuador, who hold steady at +2,500 on the championship odds following its date with Brazil.

Argentina exacted revenge for its loss in last year’s Copa America final with a thrilling 2-1 victory over defending champion Chile on Monday night, claiming a share of first place on the Group D table and strengthening its position as +125 tournament chalk.

La Albiceleste has reached the final in three of the past four editions of the Copa America, but have failed to win the tournament since 1993.

But with its win over Chile, and superstar Lionel Messi expected back in the lineup for Friday’s match against Panama, where they’re pegged as heavy -575 chalk, the Argentines look poised to justify its -2,000 odds to win Group D.

Messi has been plagued by injury all season and was sidelined in Argentina’s victory over Chile, but remains a +450 favourite to emerge as the leading goal scorer in this year’s tournament.

Mexico has made major gains on the Copa America Centenario odds, rocketing to +450 following a convincing 3-1 win over Uruguay.

Uruguay, which owns a record 15 Copa America titles, remains in the hunt in Group C betting, trailing Mexico with +275 odds ahead of its date with Venezuela on Thursday night, and remain a competitive +1,400 wager in Copa America championship betting.

Following its disappointing 2-0 loss to Colombia in the tournament opener, the United States rebounded on Tuesday by laying a 4-0 beating on Costa Rica as -125 favourites to seize control of second place in Group B. The Colombians became the first side to clinch a spot in the quarterfinals with a 2-1 win over Paraguay.
